Chiropractic Care

Care tailored to you.

There isn't one adjustment or technique that's right for every person. At Great Lakes Chiropractic, care is individualized around your evaluation, comfort level, preferences and goals.

A Personalized Approach

Comfort matters.

Some patients prefer a low-force instrument-assisted adjustment. Others are comfortable with a drop-table technique or a combination of approaches. Dr. Angela Vitale uses several chiropractic techniques so care can be adapted to the person in front of her.

The goal is not to force every patient into the same style of care. We'll talk with you about the techniques being considered and choose an approach appropriate for your individual needs.

Techniques & Services

Options for individualized chiropractic care.

01

Activator Technique

The Activator is a small handheld adjusting instrument that delivers a quick, controlled, low-force impulse to a specific area. It can be a good option for patients who prefer a low-force, instrument-assisted approach rather than a traditional manual adjustment.

02

Impulse Adjusting

Impulse adjusting uses a handheld instrument designed to deliver a precise, controlled force. The instrument allows Dr. Vitale to target a specific area while keeping the adjustment quick and comfortable.

03

Thompson / Drop-Table Technique

A specialized chiropractic table has sections that gently drop a short distance during the adjustment. The movement of the table assists the adjustment and can reduce the amount of force needed.

04

Digital X-Ray

When clinically appropriate, digital X-rays provide detailed images that help identify structural findings and inform your individualized care plan.

05

Webster Technique for Pregnancy

A chiropractic approach that focuses on sacral and pelvic alignment and function during pregnancy. Care is adapted for the comfort and changing needs of the pregnant patient.

06

Manual Chiropractic Adjustments

Traditional hands-on chiropractic adjustments tailored to your individual needs, comfort level, and treatment goals.

07

Custom Foot Levelers Orthotics

Your feet form the foundation for the way you stand and move. Great Lakes Chiropractic offers custom Foot Levelers orthotics when additional foot and postural support may be appropriate.

Dr. Vitale can discuss whether custom orthotics make sense for you based on your individual needs.

Dr. Vitale's Philosophy

The person comes before the technique.

Dr. Vitale's own experience as a chiropractic patient shaped the way she approaches care today. She knows what it's like to search for answers and wants patients to feel heard rather than rushed.

That means paying attention not only to what brings you into the office, but also to your comfort level and how you prefer to be cared for.
